I’m happy to announce that in the future, customers will be able to enjoy a gigantic image size of up to 300-400 megapixels.
Significant investments were made on the camera side. The resolution was greatly increased and the lighting equipment improved. Processing 300 megapixel image files with a lot of detail in an efficient and sensible way naturally also requires high performance from the processor, graphics card and other hardware.
So the iron side also needed a complete upgrade. In the future, images will be processed and handled by the combination of the most powerful high-end graphics card and the most powerful processor on the market. Performance that beats even Apple’s most powerful desktops.
I photographed this industrial machine, which is about eight metres wide, at the factory from the roofline. The image has a resolution of 300 megapixels. It also provides high-quality cropping and prints for side of the trucks, exhibition stand walls and many other applications where high quality images are required.
I’m looking forward to all the upcoming shoots where I can really get to grips with the new equipment.
